Keely Jordan Simmonds is the founder of Simmonds Family Law, a boutique family law practice based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Keely’s journey to the legal profession began in the high desert of New Mexico. She attended St. John’s College in Santa Fe, where she immersed herself in the rigorous study of the Great Books. This distinctive educational foundation honed her critical thinking, dialectical skills, and ability to navigate complex, nuanced human narratives—skills that serve as the bedrock of her family law practice today.

Following her time in Santa Fe, Keely returned to her roots in Southern California to pursue her legal education at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, she held a prestigious clerkship with the presiding family law judge at Stanley Mosk Courthouse and focused her sights on the complexities of domestic relations, preparing herself to advocate effectively for families and individuals.

Drawn back by the community, culture, and landscape, Keely returned to New Mexico and worked for Santa Fe Law Group as an associate attorney before establishing her own practice in 2026.

Professionally admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico, she proudly serves the state specializing in cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence.
